The core of it

Trapping Is Not a Solution. It Is Half of One.

Here is what happens when a company traps and leaves. They take the animal out. The opening it used is still there. Four to six weeks later something else finds the same opening, because the opening is what attracted the animal in the first place, not the animal.

Then you call again, and you pay again.

Exclusion is the other half. It means locating every opening in your structure and sealing it so nothing gets back in. It is more work, it takes longer, and it costs more the first time. It is also the only version of this that ends.

What we handle

What We Remove

  • Squirrels. The most common attic animal in Atlanta. Daytime activity and gnawing. They chew wiring, which makes this a fire concern and not only a noise concern.
  • Raccoons. Heavy, slow movement, usually at night. Strong enough to tear open a soffit or roof vent, and a female will use an attic as a den. Never approach one.
  • Opossums. Usually under decks, in crawlspaces, and in garages. More nuisance than danger, and they eat a remarkable number of ticks and insects.
  • Snakes. Removal, and more importantly figuring out how it got in.
  • Armadillos. Yard and foundation damage, and they are harder to exclude than most people expect.
  • Beavers. Including relocation where a colony is flooding property. Very few companies in this metro handle this.
  • Bats. A specialized job with its own legal restrictions. See bat removal.
  • Rats and mice. Handled a little differently. See rodent control.

Its own kind of call

Dead Animal Removal

Something died and now you are living with it. In a wall, under the house, in the crawlspace, or in the yard. This does not wait. The odor gets worse, it draws flies, and in a wall cavity it can take weeks to resolve on its own.

Finding it is the job. Removal takes minutes once you know where it is. Odor travels through wall cavities, along framing, and through ductwork, so where you smell it strongest is frequently not where it is. Cutting drywall in the wrong spot is expensive and fixes nothing.

We handle animals dead inside walls and attics, deer and large animals in yards, livestock, locating the source when you can smell it but cannot find it, and sanitizing and treating the area afterward. Then we close whatever it used to get in.

Trapping or one way doors depending on the animal, the season, and what the law allows.

Every opening closed with material the animal cannot get through. Not foam, and not screen stapled over a hole.

Why it matters

Wildlife Work Is a Different License Than Pest Control

In Georgia, the Department of Agriculture regulates pest and termite work through the Structural Pest Control Commission. The Department of Natural Resources regulates wildlife, and issues that license to a person rather than a company.

Plenty of pest companies are not licensed for the animal in your attic, and plenty of wildlife companies cannot treat the ants in your kitchen. Michael holds both, which is why you are not handed to a second company halfway through.

Do you kill the animals?
Our approach is removal and exclusion, not extermination. What is legally allowed varies by species and season, and we will tell you plainly what applies to your situation.
How fast can you get here?
Usually within a day or two. If something is actively in your living space, call and say so.
Something is in my wall and I think it is dead.
We do dead animal removal, including locating it, which is usually the hard part. Tell us where you smell it and how long it has been.
How much does exclusion cost?
It depends almost entirely on how much of your structure needs sealing. Call, describe the house, and we will give you a range before anyone drives out.
Will my homeowners insurance cover this?
Sometimes, particularly where there is structural or wiring damage. Worth a call to your carrier, and we can document what we find.
Do you handle rental properties?
Yes. We work with owners and property managers across multiple properties, on a schedule or as needed.
